Privacy Policy

LinkToMe (“we”, “us”) helps you capture and organize the people you meet at conferences. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. We treat the notes and labels you attach to a contact as personal intelligence — never public data.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, and an optional LinkedIn URL and “active event”. A unique, non-rotating QR token is generated for you at sign-up.
Connections: when you scan someone, we store the link between you and them along with the context you add — role, venue, follow-up flag, and your private notes.
Usage events: we log basic product events (sign-in, scans saved, profile updates) to operate and improve the service.
How we use it
To provide the core service — generating your badge, resolving scans, and surfacing your connections and follow-ups. We do not sell your data, and we do not show one user’s notes or labels about another person to that person or to any third party.
Where it lives
Your data is stored in our managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase) with row-level security, so each person can only access their own connections. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. The app is served via Vercel. Emails (sign-in links, password resets) are sent through our email provider.
Your rights
You can export all of your connections to CSV at any time, edit or delete any connection, and delete your account entirely from your profile — which permanently removes your profile, connections, and login.
